BOSTON – Binghamton returned to the pool in emphatic fashion, sweeping Niagara and Canisius in its first competition in a full year. Vermont topped Maine 151-129 for its first victory of the season.

Female Swimmer of the Week
Audrey Pesek, Binghamton – So., Back/Fly, San Jose Calif.
- Won the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly to guide the Bearcats to victory.
- Pesek’s 58.29 time in the 100 back is second-best in the conference this season.
- Her time of 59.21 in the butterfly ranks third in the conference.
- This is her first career #AESD honor.
Male Swimmer of the Week
Andy Sprague, Maine – Sr., Sprint/Fly/Back, Wrentham, Mass.
- Swept the 50-yard butterfly and 100-yard butterfly at Norwich.
- Touched the wall in 23.70 in the 50.
- Completed the 100 fly in 52.48.
- This is his first Swimmer of the Week award of the season.
Female Diver of the Week
Emily Murphy, Vermont – Sr., Diver, Greenwich, Conn.
- Won the 3-meter diving competition with a final score of 246.97.
- Placed second in the 1-meter.
- Her 246.37 point total is a season-best.
- This is her first Diver of the Week award this season.
Male Diver of the Week
David Walters, Binghamton – Sr., Diver, West Nyack, N.Y.
- Won the 1-meter dive, scoring 237.40.
- Walters’ score of 208.50 earned a silver medal in the 3-meter.
- This is his first weekly award of the season.
