Five players, including three from regular-season champion New Hampshire, have earned major awards for their performances during the 2021 regular season. UNH student-athletes earned Sriker of the Year (Tola Showunmi), Midfielder of the Year (Yannick Bright) and Defender of the Year (Adam Savill). Vermont's Nate Silveira earned Goalkeeper of the Year honors and Stony Brook's Jonas Bickus was the Rookie of the Year. Additionally, UNH's coaching staff earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors as the WIldcats are in the midst of one of the best seasons of any team in league history.
The major award winners were determined in a vote by the league's nine head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players.

Striker of the Year
Tola Showunmi, Gr., New Hampshire
- Ranks second among league leaders in goals (10) and points (22).
- Tied for the league lead with four goals during conference play.
- Four of his scores were game winners.
- Named #AEMSOC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 27.
Midfielder of the Year
Yannick Bright, So., New Hampshire
- Controls game in the middle for UNH, which is among the nation’s best in goal differential (+22).
- It’s the fourth-straight season a Wildcat has been named Midfielder of the Year.
- Second-most minutes on the team.
- Also a first-team All-Conference selection.
Defender of the Year
Adam Savill, Gr., New Hampshire
- Leads the best defensive unit in the nation.
- UNH is first nationally in team GAA (0.41).
- The Wildcats’ 10 shutouts are second-most in the country.
- Also a first-team All-Conference selection.
Goalkeeper of the Year
Nate Silveira, Sr., Vermont
- Second in the league in GAA and save percentage.
- Has 7 shutouts on the year, second-most in the league.
- Two-time #AEMSOC Defensive Player of the Week this season.
- First-team All-Conference Goalkeeper.
Rookie of the Year
Jonas Bickus, Fr., Stony Brook
- Fourth-ever Seawolf to earn Rookie of the Year honors.
- Top freshman scorer in the conference with 4 goals.
- Three-time #AEMSOC Rookie of the Week this year.
- Also an All-Rookie selection.
Coaching Staff of the Year
New Hampshire (Marc Hubbard Head Coach)
- Led UNH to its third-straight #AEMSOC regular season title.
- The Wildcats have the best winning percentage in the country and are one of only two teams without a loss (15-0-2).
- Has his team ranked 7th in the country.
- UNH is the first school to be named Coaching Staff of the Year three-straight seasons. They’ve won the award four of the last five years.
- Marc Hubbard is assisted by Rich Weinrebe, Joe Dincecco and David Williams.
