Mackay Qualifies for NCAA Cross Country Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – For the second time this calendar year, Emily Mackay is headed to NCAA Cross Country Championships.
 
After winning the America East championship meet last month in record time, the Binghamton senior finished third in the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday at Franklin Park. Mackay will be the first America East female to compete in consecutive national cross country championships since 11-time All-American Elle Purrier in 2016-17.
 
Mackay earned All-America honors last spring, finishing 14th at NCAAs. She will run the women’s race at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20. The event will be streamed live on ESPNU. Live results can be found here. For more information, visit NCAA.com.
