UMBC completed an unbeaten season in America East volleyball conference play, becoming just the third team to finish 12-0 or better in 20 years. The Retrievers, undefeated in their last 15 league matches, won the #AEVB regular-season crown for the second consecutive season and earned the championship’s top seed.

The volleyball championship will be hosted in Baltimore for the first time as a result of the Retrievers’ stellar regular season. The defending champs will face No. 4 Stony Brook in the semifinals Friday, Nov. 19 at 4 p.m. The Seawolves (7-5) finished in the top-four in the standings for the fifth consecutive season.
No. 2 UAlbany (8-4) clinched a 20th championship berth in a row, earning a top-two seed for the seventh-straight season. The Great Danes will play No. 3 UNH in the semifinals Friday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. on AmericaEast.tv. The Wildcats (7-5) are in the postseason for the tenth time in eleven seasons.
The two semifinals winners will square off in the 2021 #AEVB championship game Saturday, Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. on AETV.
