BOSTON – America East cross country programs congregated at Lehigh University Friday for the 2021 Paul Short Run.
Stony Brook finished fifth in the men’s team standings behind North Carolina, Villanova, Princeton and Utah State. UMass Lowell was just behind the Seawolves.

Here are the Week #5 awards:
Female Performer of the Week
Emily Mackay, Binghamton – Sr., Endicott, N.Y.
- Mackay was the top America East finisher at Lehigh, placing 15th out of more than 300 runners.
- She finished the 6K race in 20:25.9.
- This is her second #AEXC Performer of the Week award in three weeks.
Male Performer of the Week
Dan Schaffer, Binghamton – Sr., Endicott, N.Y.
- Cracked the top-10 at Paul Short Run.
- Schaffer’s 23:40.6 time was ninth-fastest in the 8K.
- This is his first #AEXC weekly honor of 2021.
