Binghamton Tops Niagara, Siena, Collects #AESD Week #2 Awards

BOSTON – Binghamton earned wins in its first home meet of the season last weekend. The Bearcats topped Niagara in men’s competition while the women defeated Siena.
 
Here are the week #2 awards:
 
Female Swimmer of the Week
Courtney Moane, Binghamton – So., Breaststroke, Staten Island, N.Y.
  • Won the 100 breaststroke in 1:06.53.
  • Also won the 200 breast in 2:25.17.
 
Male Swimmer of the Week
Elijah Lanfear, Binghamton – Fr., Sprints, Binghamton, N.Y.
  • Won three races against Siena and Niagara.
  • Swam the 50 free in 21.19 and the 100 fly in 50.37, both the top times in the conference this season.
 
Female Diver of the Week
Amanda McGraw, Binghamton – Sr., Warwick, N.Y.
  • Swept the diving events against Siena and Niagara.
  • Scored 279.53 in the one-meter and 261.08 in the three-meter.
 
Male Diver of the Week
Chris Egan, Binghamton – Sr., Central Valley, N.Y.
  • Scored a 312.3 to take first place in the one-meter dives.
  • Placed second in the three-meter.
