Men's Soccer 10/11/2021 1:03:06 PM UNH Men's Soccer Ranked #2 in RPI, Improves to Perfect 12-0-0 BOSTON – The number of perfect men’s soccer teams in the country is down to three and New Hampshire remains one of them. The Wildcats, who are joined by Washington and Georgetown in that category, improved to 12-0-0 and 4-0-0 in #AEMSOC play with a 4-1 win at Binghamton on Saturday. The Wildcats, who are ranked 7th, were #2 in the first NCAA RPI published on Monday. Elsewhere last weekend, Vermont beat NJIT, 1-0, Stony Brook downed UMBC, 3-1, and UAlbany upended Hartford, 3-1. Eight conference games take place this week with four on Wednesday, Oct. 13 and four on the weekend. Each team will play an eight-game schedule in the single round robin format. The top six teams in the conference standings based on points percentage will qualify for the 2021 America East men's soccer championship. This is his second Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season (9/20). Rookie of the Week Patrick Gryczewski, Hartford – Fr., Midfielder, Plainville, Conn. Scored twice in Hartford’s 2-2 tie vs. Yale on Tuesday.
