Seven Former #AEBASE Players to Report to MLB Camps

Baseball is nearing a return. Opening Day in Major League Baseball is scheduled for July 23rd and seven former #AEBASE student-athletes are slated to report to big league summer camps on July 1.
 
Two former Pitcher of the Year honorees Nick Tropeano (Stony Brook) and Adam Ottavino (Northeastern) have made the 60-man camp roster for the New York Yankees. 2012 Player of the Year Travis Jankowski (Stony Brook) will report with the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday while 2014 Pitcher of the Year Sean Newcomb (Hartford) will report with the Atlanta Braves. Stephen Woods Jr. (UAlbany) will be with the Kansas City Royals, Daniel Zamora (Stony Brook) will report with the New York Mets and Danny Mendick (UMass Lowell) will practice with the Chicago White Sox.
 
54 America East players have been drafted over the past nine years.
