2020 Outdoor #AETF All-Academic Teams Revealed

BOSTON –20 student-athletes have been named to the 2020 America East Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field All-Academic Teams, 11 of whom had also earned All-Academic status following the 2019-20 indoor season. The teams, which were voted on by members of the conference's All-Academic Committee, were announced on Thursday morning.
 
Vermont led the way with four total selections followed closely by UAlbany, Maine, UMass Lowell and Stony Brook with three apiece.

The women’s team, led by five 4.0 grade-point-averages, compiled an eye-popping 3.96 collective GPA. Honorees included UAlbany’s Adelaide Cooke, Tori Reid and Cara Sherman, Hartford’s Elizabeth Lodge, Maine’s Emma Jourdain and Anna Schumann, New Hampshire’s Shannon Murdock, Stony Brook’s Holly Manning and Vermont’s Marina Cannon and Konstanze Wendeln.
 
The men combined for a stellar 3.84 GPA. The ten selections included Binghamton’s Jack Fitzgerald and Dan Schaffer, Maine’s Branden Kuusela, UMass Lowell’s Justin Carbone, Kyle Cloutier and Benjamin Drezek, Stony Brook’s Cameron Avery and Vann Moffett and Vermont’s John Benner and Neville Caulfield.
  
The 2020 spring athletic season was halted on March 12 due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
