Kelsey Bing Named National Scholar-Athlete

Stanford senior Kelsey Bing has been named 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Scholar-Athlete. Bing is the first America East student-athlete to receive the distinction, awarded to the All-American honoree who earns the highest cumulative grade-point average through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year.
 
The three-time #AEFH Goalkeeper of the Year led Stanford to the 2019 NCAA Tournament as league champions for the third time in four years. Bing’s .788 save percentage ranked in the nation’s top-five and earned her a spot on the All-American Second-Team.
 
She was named a 2019-20 America East Fall Scholar-Athlete with a 3.94 GPA in mechanical engineering.
