Lamb, Olaniyi, Becker Highlight #AEHoops NABC All-District Honorees
Five America East men’s basketball standouts and one coach have been recognized by National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for their achievements during the 2019-20 season.

Vermont’s Anthony Lamb and Stony Brook’s Elijah Olaniyi were honored as NABC Division I All-District I first-team selections. Lamb earned America East Player of the Year honors for the second-straight year while Olaniyi was a first-team honoree.
A trio of players earned second team honors in Hartford’s Malik Ellison, UMass Lowell’s Christian Lutete and Vermont’s Stef Smith. Ellison and Smith were first-team All-Conference choices while Lutete was a second-team honoree.
Additionally, Vermont head coach John Becker earned Division I District I Coach of the Year honors after leading the Catamounts to their fourth-straight #AEHoop regular-season title and the league championship for the eighth time.
