Coordinated by the America East Academic Consortium, the free online event will feature enrollment and admissions staff members from each America East institution. The event, which will be hosted by CareerEco Virtual Fairs, a virtual recruiting platform, will provide information and highlight assets of each university, including academic requirements, student life, specialized programs and academic success stories for prospective students.

Additionally, the two-hour virtual event, which already has over 1,000 registrants, will provide attendees opportunities to interact directly with campus admissions representatives in breakout rooms to discuss programs and opportunities offered at each university. Attendees, who can switch rooms during event at any time, will also be able to learn more about each institution’s application process and financial aid policies.

“The America East Virtual College Tour is an optimal opportunity for prospective college students to learn more about all 10 America East institutions at one time,” said America East Academic Consortium Executive Director, Marsha Florio. “This collaboration is another example of the how the Consortium can benefit our schools and students alike.”

This is the second virtual admissions event put on by the America East Academic Consortium and third event overall. The virtual event held in May drew over 900 attendees.
