Avery Leads Stony Brook to Third-Place Finish at Coast-to-Coast, Earns Weekly Honor
BOSTON – The Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown played host to the majority of #AEXC programs last weekend. Out of the 21 teams competing, Stony Brook impressively totaled the third-best team score in the men’s competition. The New Hampshire women’s team also earned a top-ten finish out of 22 programs competing.

#AEXC Weekly Award Winners – Sept. 25
Female Performer of the Week
Hannah Reinhardt, UAlbany – Sr., Clarence, N.Y.
- Was the top America East finisher at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
- Finished the 5K in 18 minutes flat.
- This is Reinhardt’s second Performer of the Week designation this season.
Male Performer of the Week
Cameron Avery, Stony Brook – Sr., Christchurch, New Zealand
- Placed sixth overall at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
- Avery’s time of 24:29 helped the Seawolves to a third-place finish overall.
- This is Avery’s first Performer of the Week award of the season.
