New Hampshire junior Edward Speidel was named a Google Cloud Academic All-American, as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

With his perfect 4.0 GPA in business administration and accounting, the thrower earned a spot on the All-America Second Team several weeks after being one of three student-athletes to represent America East on the Academic All-District teams. Speidel was also named to the America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll just prior. He earned the conference’s Elite 18 award during this year’s indoor track and field season and is also a four-time America East All-Academic selection, twice earning the distinction in 2018-19.
