Trio of Student-Athletes Earn Academic All-District Distinction

Three America East track and field student-athletes have been recognized nationally for their academic achievement and athletic excellence. Binghamton’s Jack Fitzgerald and New Hampshire’s Edward Speidel and Alexandra Toback were named to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District Track and Field teams, announced by CoSIDA.
 
Both Fitzgerald and Speidel were America East All-Academic selections following the recent outdoor season. Speidel earned the conference’s Elite 18 award during the 2018-19 indoor season. He carries a perfect 4.0 GPA in Business Administration. Fitzgerald carries a 3.90 GPA in Mechanical Engineering.
 
Toback, a Communication Sciences and Disorders major, holds a 3.97 GPA at New Hampshire. All three student-athletes advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America ballot.
