Academic Honor Roll Standard Set Again
BOSTON – America East student-athletes continued to set new conference standards in the classroom with over two thirds of those who competed in winter or spring sports achieving academic Honor Roll status, the conference office announced Thursday afternoon. The total number of student-athletes honored and the percentage of those recognized among eligible student-athletes once again set new conference standards.
Honor Roll recognition is bestowed to student-athletes who obtain a semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 higher during their competition season.
"America East student-athletes continue to raise the standard with their hard work and achievements in the classroom all while balancing the challenges of being a Division I student-athlete at demanding institutions," said America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen.
