#AEBASE Standings Condense, Week #10 Awards Revealed
BOSTON – With less than a month remaining in the regular season, Stony Brook remains atop the #AEBASE standings after taking two of three from UAlbany at home. UMass Lowell and UMBC also won a pair of home league games against Binghamton and Hartford, respectively, and the standings are now separated by just six games.
Here are the league’s upcoming series, scheduled to begin Saturday:
Hartford (7-5) at Binghamton (5-6)
Maine (6-5) at UAlbany (7-8)
Stony Brook (11-4) at UMBC (5-10)

Player of the Week
Ciaran Devenney, UMass Lowell – Jr., C, Manalapan, N.J.
- Paced the River Hawks to a series win over Binghamton with three home runs and seven RBI, all in the first two games.
- Finished the week 5-for-9 from the dish, including a perfect 5-for-5 in Friday’s doubleheader.
- This is his first career #AEBASE weekly award.
Pitcher of the Week
Nick Silva, Maine – Sr., RHP, Miami, Fla.
- Threw a no-hitter in Maine’s win over UMass.
- Pitched a complete game, allowing one run in seven innings.
- This is his third Pitcher of the Week award this season and sixth of his career.
Rookie of the Week
Thomas Babalis, Binghamton – Fr., LHP, Branchburg, N.J.
- Pitched seven innings against UMass Lowell, allowing one run on three hits.
- Credited with the win, Babalis tallied six strikeouts to one walk.
- This is his first career #AEBASE award.
