BOSTON – On the heels of its first-ever America East baseball championship, Hartford was chosen as the 2019 preseason favorite by the conference’s seven head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own teams. The Hawks also won their first regular season title in program history in 2018 and will attempt to become the first #AEBASE team to clinch back-to-back NCAA berths since Binghamton in 2013-2014.

The Hawks received five first-place votes totaling 35 points, while Stony Brook garnered the remaining two first-place votes for a total of 32 points.
