Maine Stretches Win Streak to Eight, Women's #AEHoops Week #15 Awards Revealed

BOSTON – A 2-0 week for Maine (19-7, 12-1 AE) slightly widened the gap for first place in the #AEHoops standings with two weeks left in the regular season. The Black Bears beat two current top-four teams last week, topping Hartford (17-9, 10-2 AE) at home Wednesday and defeating UAlbany (11-14, 8-4 AE) on the road Saturday.

  • Scored 31 points at Albany, making 12 of her 24 field goal attempts.
  • This is Millan’s fourth #AEHoops honor of the season and sixth of her career.
 
Rookie of the Week
Hayley More, Binghamton – Fr., Guard, Marlboro, N.J.
  • Scored a career-high 14 points in Binghamton’s comeback win at UMBC Wednesday.
