Record Number of Student-Athletes Named to Honor Roll
BOSTON – Once again a record number of America East student-athletes have been named to the conference's academic Honor Roll after nearly three-quarters of the student-athletes who played America East sponsored fall sports during the 2018-19 academic year achieved a 3.0 grade-point average or better. The 812 student-athletes honored is a conference all-time high for the second-straight year with over 60 percent of them earning Commissioner's Honor Roll status for earning a GPA better than 3.5.

- Overall, 812 student-athletes (74%) had a 3.0 or higher, an all-time conference record.
- Of the 787, 60 percent (490 in total) made the Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Hartford had the highest percentage of Honor Roll student-athletes (87%).
- Maine had the highest percentage of Commissioner's Honor Roll student-athletes (60%).
- UAlbany had the most Honor Roll student-athletes (107).
- Three programs: Hartford volleyball, UMass Lowell women's cross country and Stony Brook women's cross country had every student-athlete on their teams make the Honor Roll.
- Eight of America East's nine member institutions had more student-athletes recognized than in 2017-18.
