#AETF Student-Athletes Climb National Rankings, Earn Weekly Awards
BOSTON – After last week’s track and field competition, the majority of schools have turned their attention to the 2019 America East Track and Field Championships. The meet will again be held at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. The two-day event begins Friday, February 22 and will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV.

Here are the conference’s weekly award winners:
Female Track Performer of the Week
Shannon Murdock, New Hampshire – Sr., Distance, Exeter, N.H.
- Ran a 4:41.61 mile at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational.
- Her time ranks first in America East and 41st nationally.
- This is Murdock’s third Performer of the Week award this season.
Male Track Performer of the Week
Paul Hogan, UMass Lowell – Gr., Distance, Burlington, Mass.
- Finished the 5000-meter run in 13:46.87 at the 2019 Husky Classic in Seattle.
- Hogan’s time ranks 21st in the country and broke his own school record set earlier this year.
- This is his third Performer of the Week award this season.
Female Field Performer of the Week
Brooke Bonney, Binghamton – Gr., Throws, Norwich, N.Y.
- Won the weight throw at the BU Valentine Invite.
- Bonney set a school record with her toss of 19.99m, which ranks in the top-40 in Division I.
- This is her second #AETF award this season.
Male Field Performer of the Week
Devon Willis, UAlbany – Gr., Jumps, Schenectady, N.Y.
- Placed fifth in the triple jump at the Tyson Invitational.
- His mark of 15.81m currently ranks 18th in the country.
- This is the second time this season Willis has earned Performer of the Week honors.
