Binghamton One of Four 8-0 Teams in Country; Women's #AEHoops Weekly Honors Announced

BOSTON – One of just 18 unbeaten teams in the country, Binghamton won a pair of games over Thanksgiving week to improve to 8-0. The Bearcats are one of just four Division I teams with eight wins and zero losses to this point. Kai Moon continues to shoot the ball well and ranks second among the nation’s top scorers with 24.3 points per game.

Here are the conference’s week #4 women’s basketball awards of the 2019-20 season:
 
Player of the Week
Kai Moon, Binghamton – Sr., Guard, Chicago, Ill.
  • Averaged 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in a 2-0 week for the Bearcats.
  • Moon shot 48 percent from the field and made 45 percent of her three-point attempts.
  • This is her third Player of the Week honor for the season and her career.
 
Rookie of the Week
Helena Delaruelle, New Hampshire – Fr., Guard, Enghien-les-Bains, France
  • Posted 10 points, five rebounds and five assists against North Dakota Sate.
  • Her five assists were a team-high and came on just two turnovers.
  • This is her first career #AEHoops weekly award.
