UMass Lowell Has Strong #AEHoops Week, Led by Player of Week, Noel
BOSTON – UMass Lowell paced #AEHoops teams last week going 2-0 with wins over Brown and Central Conn. State. UAlbany and UMBC also went unbeaten last week.

Here are week #4 men’s basketball awards:
Player of the Week
Obadiah Noel, UMass Lowell – Jr., Guard, Frederick, Md.
- Averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds. 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals in a 2-0 week for UMass Lowell.
- Had 16 points and eight boards in a win over Central Conn State on Sunday.
- Hit the game-winning shot with 5.0 seconds left against the Blue Devils..
- Had 18 points, six rebounds and four steals in a win over Brown on Wednesday.
- This is Noel’s first #AEHoops Player of the Week honor of his career.
Rookie of the Week
George Tinsley, Binghamton - Fr., Forward, Clarks Summit, Pa.
- Averaged 19.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games last week.
- Had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds against Loyola.
- This is Tinsley's second career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor (11/18).
