UAlbany, UMass Lowell, UNH Earn #AEMSOC League Wins
BOSTON – UAlbany, UMass Lowell and New Hampshire all earned wins in #AEMSOC play over the weekend while Hartford and UMBC played to a scoreless tie. The 15th-ranked Wildcats improved to 8-0-2 and remain one of just eight unbeaten teams in the country.

#AEMSOC Weekly Award Winners – Oct. 7
Offensive Player of the Week
Bjarki Ragnar, UAlbany – So., Forward, Reykjavik, Iceland
- Scored UAlbany’s second goal, the game winner, in a 3-1 win at Vermont on Saturday.
- This is Ragnar’s first career Offensive Player of the Week award.
Defensive Player of the Week
Patrik Gujic, UMass Lowell – So., Goalkeeper, Bjelovar, Croatia
- Stopped all five shots he faced in UMass Lowell’s 1-0 win at Binghamton on Saturday.
- This is Gujic’s first Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season and second of his career.
Rookie of the Week
Edmond Kaiser, Stony Brook – Fr., Goalkeeper, Karlsruhe, Germany
- Stopped 12 of the 13 shots he faced in two games last week.
- Had five saves in a clean sheet victory over Fordham.
- This is Kaiser’s first career Rookie of the Week honor.
