Monmouth to Host 2019 #AEFH Championship; Week #9 Awards Unveiled
BOSTON – Entering the final week of the regular season, three spots remain on the line for the 2019 America East Field Hockey Championship. But after its win over UMass Lowell last weekend, #21 Monmouth has sealed the tournament’s top seed and will host the championship in New Jersey. #17 Stanford and Maine have also clinched postseason berths.

#AEFH Weekly Award Winners – Oct. 29
Offensive Player of the Week
Corinne Zanolli, Stanford – Jr., Attack, Newtown Square, Pa.
- Scored all three of #17 Stanford’s goals against Cal to clinch the West Division regular season title.
- The hat trick was Zanolli’s fourth of the season.
- This is her fourth Offensive Player of the Week this season and sixth of her career.
Defensive Player of the Week
Mia Borley, Maine – So., Goalkeeper, Durham, England
- Saved all seven shots in a 2-0 win over UAlbany that sent the Black Bears to the postseason.
- Borley has allowed just two goals in her last four games.
- This is her second Defensive Player of the Week award of the season.
Co-Rookie of the Week
Yasmin Pratt, Monmouth – Fr., Forward, Wicklow, Ireland
- Netted two goals in #21 Monmouth’s win to secure home field advantage in the postseason.
- It was Pratt’s second multi-goal game of the season.
- This is her second #AEFH Rookie of the Week designation and third weekly honor.
Co-Rookie of the Week
Kate Hall, Vermont – Fr., Forward, South Burlington, Vermont
- Scored two goals in Vermont’s non-conference win over Colgate.
- The goals were Hall’s fifth and sixth of the season and marked the second time she recorded a multi-goal game.
- This is her first career Rookie of the Week honor.
