#23 Monmouth Improves to 2-0 in League Play; #AEFH Week #7 Awards Unveiled
BOSTON – #23 Monmouth leads the #AEFH East Division at 2-0 in conference play following its 4-2 win at home against Maine. New Hampshire (1-1) pulled out a double overtime victory over #21 UAlbany last weekend in a back-and-forth game while Vermont (1-1) scored on the final play of double OT at UMass Lowell. #16 Stanford went 2-0 over the weekend in non-conference play, punctuated by a win over #18 Ohio State.

#AEFH Weekly Award Winners – Oct. 15
Offensive Player of the Week
Corinne Zanolli, Stanford – Jr., Attack, Newtown Square, Pa.
- Produced hat tricks on back-to-back days in #16 Stanford’s 2-0 week.
- Zanolli’s third hat trick of the season came in Sunday’s 3-1 win over #18 Ohio State.
- She is the Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season and fifth in her career.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kelsey Bing, Stanford – Sr., Goalkeeper, Houston, Texas
- Held fort in cage for the Cardinal, allowing just one goal in two wins.
- After shutting out Ball State, Bing made five saves against #18 Ohio State.
- This is her second Defensive Player of the Week award of the season and seventh overall.
Rookie of the Week
Ava Mariani, New Hampshire – Fr., Forward, Easton, Pa.
- Scored two goals including the game-winner in double overtime to upset #21 UAlbany 4-3.
- She converted on two of her three shots, the last of which came with just 2:30 remaining in the second OT.
- This her second #AEFH Rookie of the Week nod in three weeks.
