BOSTON – Seven of America East's nine #AEHoops men's programs earned wins last week, including UMBC going 2-0. Vermont stands in first place in the conference standings after beating Stony Brook at Saturday.

Caleb Stewart, Binghamton – Sr., Forward, Schenectady, N.Y.
  • Averaged 24.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in a 1-1 week.
  • Shot 60 percent (15-of-25) from the field.
  • Tallied a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds vs. UMass Lowell Wednesday.
  • Scored a career-high 26 points and added 11 boards in a victory over Maine Saturday.
  • This is Stewart’s first Player of the Week honor this season and of his career.
Rookie of the Week
Antonio Rizzuto, UAlbany - Fr., Guard, York, Pa.
  • Averaged 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in a 1-1 week.
  • Shot 13-of-26 from the field (.500).
  • Had 21 points, five rebounds and three assists in just 24 minutes of UAlbany’s win over Hartford Saturday.
  • This is Rizzuto’s first career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week.
