UMBC, UML, Vermont Go 2-0; Week #10 Men's #AEHoops Awards Announced
BOSTON – UMBC, UMass Lowell and Vermont all went 2-0 last week while Stony Brook won its lone game. The Catamounts (5-0) and Seawolves (4-0) will square off for the first time this Saturday on Long Island.

- Lamb’s 42 points vs. St. Bonaventure on Dec. 18 were the most for an #AEHoops player since Jameel Warney had 43 in the 2016 league title game.

Player of the Week
Christian Lutete, UMass Lowell – Jr., Guard, Silver Spring, Md.
- Averaged 24.0 points and 9.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week.
- Shot 61 percent (14-of-23) from the field.
- Scored a career-high 35 points and added eight rebounds in a win at Hartford Saturday.
- Had a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds in a win over UAlbany Wednesday.
- This is Lutete’s third Player of the Week honor this season and of his career.
Rookie of the Week
Jose Placer, UMBC – Fr., Guard, Orlando, Fla.
- Averaged 14.5 points and 4.5 assists in a 2-0 week for UMBC.
- Shot 11-of-16 from the field (.690).
- Scored a career-high 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting and added four assists in a win over UAlbany Saturday.
- This is Placer’s first career #AEHoops Rookie of the Week.
