Full Slate of #AEFH Conference Games Ahead as Week #5 Awards Announced
BOSTON – #22 UAlbany earned the first win of the season in league play last Friday, defeating UMass Lowell 1-0 on the road. The Great Danes followed by going on to beat then fifteenth-ranked Delaware 2-1 to complete a 2-0 week. Pacific split a pair of games, defeating Colgate and taking #12 Syracuse to overtime. A full slate of #AEFH conference games lies ahead for this week with the majority appearing on AmericaEast.TV.
The majority of #AEFH games will appear AmericaEast.TV, the place to watch free live content on any device, including the network's Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Android TV OTT channels. Five contests will air on ESPN3 and ESPN+, home to over 55 America East school-produced events this fall.

Offensive Player of the Week
Kriekie van Wyk, Pacific – Sr., Forward, Pretoria, South Africa
- Scored a total of three goals against Colgate and #12 Syracuse.
- Accounted for both goals in overtime loss to Orange.
- Had game-high five shots on goal in win over Colgate.
- This is van Wyk’s first #AEFH Offensive Player of the Week award of the season and third of her career.
Defensive Player of the Week
Melissa Nealon, UAlbany – Jr., Goalkeeper, Mechanicville, N.Y.
- Led #22 Albany to a 2-0 week with wins over UMass Lowell and #15 Delaware.
- Recorded four saves in shutout of River Hawks, her fifth of the season.
- Also made four saves while allowing just one goal against the Blue Hens.
- This is the first #AEFH Defensive Player of the Week award of the season for Nealon.
Rookie of the Week
Finn Caron, New Hampshire – Fr., Forward, Hampton, N.H.
- Scored her second goal of the season in the Wildcats’ win over Bryant.
- Caron was responsible for the game-winning score.
- Tallied two shots, both on goal.
- This is the first #AEFH Rookie of the Week honor for Caron.
