Final #AEMLAX Weekly Awards Bestowed Ahead of League Tourney
BOSTON – The 2018 #AEMLAX regular season is complete with the attention turning to this weekend’s America East Championship in Albany. The Great Danes are the top seed for sixth-straight year and will again host the semifinals and final at Casey Stadium May 3 & 5. #2 Stony Brook, #3 Vermont and #4 UMass Lowell will head to Albany.

Offensive Player of the Week
Tom Haun, Stony Brook – So., Attacker, Ronkonkoma, N.Y.
- Tallied five points on three goals and two assists to help Stony Brook secure share of #AEMLAX regular-season crown with a win at Binghamton Friday.
- This is Haun’s first #AEMLAX Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Co-Defensive Player of the Week
JD Colarusso, Albany – Sr., Goalkeeper, Poughquag, N.Y.
- Stopped 11 of the 17 shots he faced in #5 Albany’s 16-6 win over Hartford Saturday.
- Also picked up a ground ball.
- This is his third #AEMLAX Defensive Player of the Week award this season.
Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Nick Washuta, Vermont – So. Goalkeeper, Orono, Minn.
- Stopped 11 of the 17 shots he faced in Vermont’s 9-6 win over UMBC Friday.
- Had a pair of ground balls.
- This is his second #AEMLAX Defensive Player of the Week award this season.
Rookie of the Week
Tehoka Nanticoke, Albany – Fr., Attacker, Six Nations, Ont.
- Tied a team high with five points on 3 goals and 2 assists to help Albany earn a share of the #AEMLAX regular-season crown with its 16-6 win over Hartford Saturday.
- This is Nanticoke’s league-best sixth #AEMLAX Rookie of the Week honor.
