Ohlmiller Breaks Pair of NCAA Records; Stony Brook and Albany Earn #AEWLAX Awards
BOSTON – Kylie Ohlmiller reached a pair of historic milestones on Saturday as she became the all-time leader in career points and assists in NCAA Division I. With her two goals and six assists against UMBC, the Stony Brook senior now has 452 points and 226 assists spanning her career, surpassing Maryland’s Jen Adams and Northwestern’s Hannah Nielsen, respectively, for most all-time.
#1 Stony Brook (15-0, 6-0 AE) defeated UMBC 22-7 and will play Albany (8-7, 6-0 AE) Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in Albany. The winner earns the regular season title and the right to host the 2018 #AEWLAX Championship. The Great Danes earned a mid-week win over a top-20 opponent, beating #20 Notre Dame at home 10-7.
Binghamton (7-8, 4-2 AE) and New Hampshire (6-9, 4-2 AE) have also clinched postseason berths and face off on Saturday at noon, a matchup that will determine the third and fourth seeds in the bracket.

Courtney Murphy, Stony Brook – Sr., Attack, Shirley, N.Y.
- Totaled a career-high 11 points on eight goals and three assists in #1 Stony Brook’s win over UMBC.
- Murphy ranks in the nation's top-five in points per game and goals per game this season.
- This is the fifth #AEWLAX Offensive Player of the Week honor of Murphy’s career and second this season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Erin Leghart, Albany – So., Goalkeeper, Farmingdale, N.Y.
- Notched 16 saves in 2-0 week, which included win over #20 Notre Dame.
- Ended the week with a 7.50 goals against average and .516 save percentage.
- This is Leghart’s second career Defensive Player of the Week award.
Rookie of the Week
Kendra Harbinger, Albany – Fr., Midfield, Clifton Park, N.Y.
- Tallied six points on five goals and an assist in two wins for the Great Danes.
- Scored three points and took a game-high seven shots against #20 Notre Dame.
- This is the seventh time Harbinger has been named Rookie of the Week this season.
