Three Teams Secure #AEWLAX Postseason Berths, Weekly Awards Bestowed
BOSTON – #1 Stony Brook (14-0, 5-0 AE), Albany (6-7, 5-0 AE) and New Hampshire (6-8, 4-1 AE) have all clinched postseason berths with two league games remaining in the regular season. The Seawolves remain the top team in the nation after beating #22 Johns Hopkins on Friday and New Hampshire on Sunday. Albany continues to roll and is now riding a six-game winning streak.

Offensive Player of the Week
Kylie Ohlmiller, Stony Brook – Sr., Attack, Islip, N.Y.
- Tallied 21 points on nine goals and 12 assists in 2-0 week for Stony Brook.
- Scored six goals and recorded five assists in win over #22 Johns Hopkins.
- Ohlmiller is two points and five assists shy of breaking the NCAA Division I career records.
Defensive Player of the Week
Carolyn Carrera, Stony Brook – Sr., Defense, Riverhead, N.Y.
- Secured a career-high 12 draw controls in Saturday’s win over New Hampshire.
- Also tallied a caused turnover and ground ball to help the Seawovles move to 5-0 in league play.
- This is Carrera’s first career #AEWLAX award.
Rookie of the Week
Kyla Zapolski, Albany – Fr., Attack, Bayport, N.Y.
- Recorded three points in win over UMass Lowell Saturday.
- Scored two goals and tallied one assist to help Albany improve to 5-0 in conference play.
- This is Zapolski’s first career #AEWLAX award.
