College Station, Texas – Three America East student-athletes will compete in NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at Texas A&M. New Hampshire senior Elinor Purrier will make her fourth appearance at the Indoor Championships after qualifying for the mile and 3000-meter run. The eight-time All-American owns the second-fastest mile time in NCAA history and also ranks second in the nation in the 3000 this season.

Michael Shanahan will cap his stellar season in the weight throw. The New Hampshire graduate student has ranked in the nation’s top-ten in the event for the duration of the season and holds the New Hampshire program record.
