For the fourth consecutive year and 10th time in 11 years, three America East women’s basketball programs will compete in postseason tournaments.

Maine (23-9) earned a 15 seed in the NCAA tournament after winning its eighth America East title in program history. The Black Bears will head to Austin to face Texas on Saturday, March 17 at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2. It will be the team's first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 2004. Head Coach Amy Vachon led Maine to four-straight NCAA appearances as a student-athlete, including the team’s last win in the Big Dance in 1999.

Albany (24-7) will play in a postseason game for the seventh straight year. The Great Danes have been to the last six NCAA tournaments and have earned a top-two seed in the America East Championship for seven consecutive years. They will make their first WNIT appearance in program history against Penn on Friday, March 16 at 7 p.m. ET.

Binghamton (19-11) is making its first postseason appearance in the program’s Division I history. On the heels of their best finish since the 2010-11 season, the Bearcats received a bid to play in the WBI and will take on Youngstown State in the first round on Wednesday, March 14 at 7 p.m. ET.
