Albany, Maine, UMass Lowell Share #AEBASE Weekly Honors
BOSTON – #AEBASE conference play begins this weekend with a pair of intra-league series. Binghamton (3-9) will play a three-game series at Stony Brook (7-7) while UMBC (2-9) visits Hartford (1-10) for a trio of games.
Both series will be broadcast on AmericaEast.TV, the place to watch live America East games for free on any device, including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Android TV.

Player of the Week
Russ Olive, UMass Lowell – Jr., OF, Chelmsford, Mass.
- Olive had a monster series against VMI, hitting .500 with eight RBI and five runs.
- He hit two home runs in each of UMass Lowell’s wins last weekend.
- This is his third career Player of the Week honor.
Pitcher of the Week
Nick Silva, Maine – Jr., P, Miami, Fla.
- Pitched five innings of relief, earning the win in Maine’s victory over Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
- Silva did not allow an earned run, striking out nine.
- This is the third #AEBASE Pitcher of the Week award of Silva’s career.
Rookie of the Week
Brad Malm, Albany – Fr., IF, Medford, N.Y.
- Combined to hit .416 with four runs and three RBI in 2-1 week for the Great Danes.
- Went 2-for-3 with a crucial 2-RBI double in Albany’s series-clinching win over Seattle on Sunday.
- This is his first #AEBASE award of his career.
