BOSTON – For the first time in program history, No. 1 Stony Brook (3-0) sits atop the national lacrosse poll. After beating No. 23 Stanford and No. 20 Denver last week, the Seawolves are listed as the top team in the country in three major polls. They became just the third America East team in any sport to be ranked #1 in the country and first since Boston University men's soccer did so in the mid-1990s. The Seawolves have defeated a ranked opponent in all three games thus far.

It was a landmark weekend for Hartford (1-0), which also enjoyed a number of firsts as the Hawks opened up their inaugural season with a victory over Delaware State.

AmericaEast.TV is the place to watch #AEWLAX games this season for free on any device, including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Android TV. Select games will air on ESPN3 throughout the season.
