Four #AEFH Talents Honored as All-Americans
Four America East student-athletes were recognized as All-Americans the National Field Hockey Coaches Assocation announced. UAlbany’s Frederike Helmke, Maine’s Casey Crowley and Stanford’s Corinne Zannoli all received Second Team honors. Helmke was named #AEFH Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and helped the Great Danes win the 2018 championship. Zannoli, in just her second collegiate season, was named America East Offensive Player of the Year. Crowley was named an East Division All-Conference selection in her senior season and helped the Black Bears to the title game.
UAlbany’s Melissa Nealon was named a Third-Team All-American. The Co-Goalkeeper of the Year allowed the third-fewest goals per game in the nation this season.
