Stony Brook Complete Strong Non-League Slate Week #8 #AEHoops Announced with League Play Set to Start
BOSTON – Stony Brook wrapped up its impressive non-conference portion of the schedule with a win at Missouri Valley Conference foe Northern Iowa on Friday. The win improved the Seawolves to 12-3 on the season and was its seventh road win.
The 81-game conference slate kicks off on Saturday with four games. The top eight teams in the standings will qualify for the #AEPlayoffs.

- Scored 29 points and added nine rebounds to lead UMass Lowell to a comeback win over Sacred Heart.
- Had eight points in the game’s final minutes and overtime to help the River Hawks overcome a late deficit.
- Shot 10-of-12 from the field.
- This is Lutete’s second-straight Player of the Week honor and second of his career.
Co-Player of the Week
Andrew Garcia, Stony Brook – So. Guard, Harlem, N.Y.
- Had a career-high 24 points and added six rebounds in Stony Brook’s road win over Northern Iowa Friday.
- Shot a perfect a 9-for-9 from the field.
- Added six rebounds.
- This is Garcia’s second #AEHoops Player of the Week honor of the season and his career.
Rookie of the Week
Jules Moor, Stony Brook – Fr., Guard, Houston, Texas
- Had career highs of 14 points and six rebounds in Stony Brook’s win at Northern Iowa Friday.
- Added four steals.
- This is Moor’s first #AEHoops Rookie of the Week honor this year.
