Stony Brook, UAlbany, New Hampshire, Hartford Set for 2018 #AEVB Championship
The field, seeds and matchups for the 2018 America East Volleyball Championship were decided Friday evening. Stony Brook captured their first #AEVB regular-season title since 2007 with their 3-2 win over UMBC.
The final seeds for the 2018 America East Volleyball Championship are:
- Stony Brook
- UAlbany
- New Hampshire
- Hartford
Stony Brook, which won the league’s regular-season title, will be the #1 seed and host next week’s championship on Friday and Saturday.
UAlbany beat New Hampshire, 3-1, to earn the #2 seed while New Hampshire will be the #3 seed. Hartford beat Binghamton, 3-1, to net the final bid and #4 seed.
The championship begins with semifinal action on Friday, November 16. The entire championship will be streamed for free at AmericaEast.TV and will be available on computers, tablets and smartphones.
