Eleven #AEWSOC Standouts Honored with All-Region Distinction

Eleven America East women's soccer standouts earned All-Region distinction from the United Soccer Coaches Association this week, the conference's most since the 2006 season.

All 11 choices earned All-Atlantic Region status joining honorees from the ACC and MAAC. 

Caroline Kopp and Mariah Williams, the America East Defender and Striker of the Year, respectively, from conference champion UAlbany headlined the second-team choices, along with UMass Lowell's Rachel Morrier, the league's Midfielder of the Year and Hartford's Hayley Nolan and Kalia Lozada.

Third-team choices included Goalkeeper of the Year Sofia Manner from Stony Brook as well as the Seawolves' Julie Johnstonbaugh and Kaitlin Loughren, UAlbany's Meghan Cavanaugh, Binghamton's Kayla Saager and Hartford's Magalie Kayrouz.
