Seventeen #AEFH Standouts Recognized on All-Region Teams

Seventeen America East field hockey standouts were named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Division I All-Region teams on Monday. Five selections highlighted the Northeast Region First Team, including UAlbany’s Dana Bozek, Frederike Helmke and Melissa Nealon and Maine’s Casey Crowley and Samantha Wagg. UAlbany’s Ghislaine Beerkens, Maine’s Libby Riedl, UMass Lowell’s Katie Lynes, New Hampshire’s Rachel Bossi and Bloem van den Brekel and Vermont’s Landon Warren were selected to the Northeast Region Second Team.
 
2018 #AEFH Offensive Player of the Year Corinne Zanolli represented Stanford on the West Region First Team and was joined by Pacific’s Kriekie van Wyk and Cal’s Megan Rodgers. Pacific’s Nthabi Maine and Stanford’s Kelsey Bing and Molly Redgrove were named to the West Region Second Team.
 
Sixteen of the above were named #AEFH All-Conference selections in 2018. Nine are expected to return in 2019. The Longstreth/NFCHA Regional Players of the Year will be announced later this week.
