Following League Wins, Four Recipients of #AEMSOC Week #7 Awards Named
BOSTON – New Hampshire, Stony Brook and Vermont each earned league wins last week after playing a mid-week non-conference game. The Seawolves improved to 3-0 in league games and are situated atop the standings. UMBC was also victorious last weekend for the first time in conference play.

Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Justin Freitas, Vermont – Sr., Forward, North Attleboro, Mass.
- Scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute to give the Catamounts a win over Hartford.
- Freitas also assisted on the game-tying goal in the first half.
- This is his second #AEMSOC Offensive Player of the Week award this season.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Martieon Watson, Stony Brook – Sr., Midfield, Vessigny, Trinidad
- Scored the game-winning goal in the 84th minute against Binghamton to seal a victory.
- Watson also assisted the first Stony Brook goal.
- This is Watson’s first career #AEMSOC award.
Defensive Player of the Week
Lars Huxsohl, New Hampshire – Sr., Goalkeeper, Hamburg, Germany
- Posted two shutouts as the Wildcats went 2-0-0 last week.
- Made three saves against Albany, the Wildcats’ second league win of the season.
- This is Huxsohl's first Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Quantrell Jones, UMBC – Fr., Goalkeeper, Baltimore
- Recorded the win in his first home start.
- Allowed one goal and made four saves against UMass Lowell.
- This is Jones’s first #AEMSOC award.
