Strong Showings at Paul Short Lead to #AEXC Weekly Awards
BOSTON – The Paul Short Invitational was the epicenter of cross country last weekend as eight of the nine #AEXC programs ran at Lehigh. UMass Lowell had the highest finish among men’s teams, placing seventh in the gold division. Vermont placed 14
th in the women’s gold division, the highest of any America East squad.

Female Performer of the Week
Hannah Reinhardt, Albany – Jr., Clarence, N.Y.
- Placed sixth overall in the gold division at the Paul Short Invitational.
- Her time of 20:40 is a personal best.
- Reinhardt ran the third-fastest 6K race in program history.
- This is her third #AEXC award of the season.
Male Performer of the Week
Dan Schaffer, Binghamton – So., Endwell, N.Y.
- Won the Paul Short Brown race on Saturday.
- Schaffer crossed the finish line in 24:37.
- His time was the sixth-fastest among more than 1,500 total men’s runners across four divisions.
- This is the Schaffer’s first #AEXC award of the season.
