Pair of Victors Tabbed as #AEXC Weekly Honorees
BOSTON – Several teams have competed in their final tune-ups before the 2018 America East Cross Country Championships. The women’s teams for Stony Brook and UMass Lowell had good showings last weekend at the Princeton Invitational, both finishing inside the top-ten in team scoring. Vermont swept the Fall Foliage Invitational while Albany hosted the R.K. Munsey UAlbany XC Invitational and finished first and second in the women's and men's races, respectively.
The 2018 #AEXC Championships will be held on October 27 at Mine Falls Park in Nashua, New Hampshire. Both races will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV. Visit

Female Performer of the Week
Hannah Reinhardt, Albany – Jr., Clarence, N.Y.
- Won the Bobbi Palma Women’s Championship at the R.K. Munsey UAlbany XC Invitational.
- Her time of 17:12.7 set a new course record as she became the first repeat champion since 1985.
- This is her fourth Performer of the Week award of the season.
Male Performer of the Week
Matt Hynes, Vermont – So., Montpelier, Vt.
- Won the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational to lead the Catamounts to victory.
- Hynes ran the 8K in 25:07.4
- This is his first career #AEXC Performer of the Week award.
