#AEMSOC Play Rolls On, Week #6 Awards Announced
BOSTON – Binghamton and Stony Brook are off to perfect 2-0 starts in #AEMSOC conference play after wins over ranked-teams, #23 New Hampshire and #16 UMass Lowell, last week. Hartford and Vermont also picked up their first conference wins. Four more conference contests take place this upcoming weekend.

Friday: at Stony Brook 4, UMass Lowell 0
Saturday: at Binghamton 2, New Hampshire 1

Offensive Player of the Week
Noah Luescher, Binghamton – Jr., Midfielder, Meisterschwanden, Switzerland
- Had a goal and an assist in Binghamton’s 2-1 win over #23 New Hampshire Saturday.
- This is Luescher’s first Offensive Player of the Week award of the season and first of his career.
Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Jimmy Slayton, Hartford – Jr., Goalkeeper, Wethersfield, Conn.
- Stopped 9-of-10 shots he faced in a 1-0-1 week for Hartford.
- Made a season-high seven saves in the Hawks’ 1-0 win over Albany Saturday.
- This is Slayton’s first career Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Clay Thomas, Vermont – So., Goalkeeper, Purcellville, Va.
- Made five saves in a shutout win at UMBC Saturday.
- Thomas has recorded four-straight shutouts.
- This is Thomas’ first career Defensive Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Rondell Payne, Stony Brook – Fr., Defender, San Fernando, Trinidad
- Scored his first career goal in Stony Brook’s 4-0 win over #16 UMass Lowell Saturday.
- This is Payne’s first #AEMSOC Rookie of the Week award of his career.
