BOSTON – Elinor Purrier was named NCAA Division I Cross Country National Athlete of the Week this week after dominating the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on Friday. The New Hampshire standout began her senior campaign with a victory against national talent in Boston en route to receiving the honor from the USTFCCCA on Monday.

Male Performer of the Week
Paul Hogan, UMass Lowell – Sr., Burlington, Mass.
- Finished 14th overall in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown
- His time of 24:39 paced the River Hawks to a sixth-place finish
- This is Hogan’s first #AEXC Male Performer of the Week award of the season
Female Performer of the Week
Elinor Purrier, New Hampshire – Sr., Montgomery, Vt.
- Won the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown in a time of 16:48.6
- She paced the pack by 14 seconds and topped last year’s time of 17:05.2 in the 5K
- It is her first #AEXC Female Performer of the Week honor this season
