BOSTON – Albany, UMBC and Stony Brook posted doubleheader sweeps on the final weekend of the America East softball regular season. Binghamton claimed the regular-season title for the second-consecutive year and will host this week's conference championship. Championsihp Central

Player of the Week
Carly Lesko, UMBC - Jr., DP, New Milford, N.J.
- Slashed .615/.643/.923 going 8-for-13 with a pair of extra base hits in a 3-1 week for UMBC.
- Hit a walk-off double against Hartford a 4-3 victory and crushed a grand slam in s 5-3 win over Mount St. Mary's.
- Drove in seven runs.
- This is Lesko's first career Player of the Week honor.
Pitcher of the Week
Celeste Verdolivo, Albany - So., P, McKinney, Texas
- Fired a two-hit, complete game shutout vs. Maine as Albany beat the Black Bears, 2-0, Friday.
- Allowed just two singles and struck out four.
- This is her second-straight Pitcher of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Melissa Rahrich, Stony Brook - Fr., P/1B, Brighton, Colo.

Went 1-0 with a save and allowed just one earned run in 7 2/3 innings of work in leading Stony Brook to a doubleheader sweep over Binghamton Saturday.

Also had two hits and drove in three of Stony Brook's six runs in the two games.
