BOSTON – After an exciting regular season, the stage is set for the 2017 America East Men's Lacrosse Championship. Albany will host the tournament at Casey Stadium for the third-straight year and will welcome #2 UMBC, #3 Binghamton and #4 Stony Brook to the Captial District. Offensive Player of the Week
Kyle McClancy, Albany - Jr., Midfielder, Bayport, N.Y.
- Scored a career-high five goals in Albany's 16-10 win over Hartford Saturday.
- With the game tied 8-8, McClancy scored three times as part of Albany's 7-0 run to take a 15-8 lead.
- This is McClancy's first Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season.
Defensive Player of the Week
Tanner Cosens, Binghamton - Sr., Goalkeeper, Endwell, N.Y.
- Made 13 saves and allowed only five goals in a 6-5 overtime win over Stony Brook, which clinched a championship berth for Binghamton.
- Had a 4.91 GAA and a .722 save percentage.
- This is his third Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season (2/20, 3/6) and third of his career..
Co-Rookie of the Week
TD Ierlan, Albany - Fr., Attack, Victor, N.Y.
- Won 22-of-24 faceoffs (92 percent) in Albany's win over Hartford.
- Picked up 13 ground balls.
- Scored his fourth goal of the season
- This is Ierlan's fourth Rookie of the Week award of the season (3/27, 4/3, 4/10).
Co-Rookie of the Week
Ryan Frawley, UMBC - Fr., Attack, Mountain Lakes, N.J.
- Tallied a career-best five points in a 10-7 win over Vermont Saturday, which locked up the No. 2 seed for UMBC.
- Had four goals and an assist.
- This is Frawley's second Rookie of the Week award of the season (3/13).
