BOSTON – With 2018 on the horizon, conference play in America East women’s basketball is fast approaching. The holiday break concludes Thursday as teams will resume action with just several non-conference games remaining on the schedule. The Albany Great Danes remain atop the standings at 10-2 with Binghamton, New Hampshire and Stony Brook all closely behind at 8-4 overall.

Binghamton senior Alyssa James' 56 total blocked shots leads the country and the Bearcats, as a team, also lead the nation in that category. UMass Lowell’s Kayla Gibbs ranks 19th in the country in rebounding.
