BOSTON –Stony Brook continued their fast start to the 2017-18 season, picking up two more wins last week. The Seawolves are now 5-0 for the first time since the 1992-93 season. Albany has won three straight games after dropping its season opener and sits at 3-1 on the season. More than half of the teams in the league have winning records as Binghamton, Maine and New Hampshire are all currently 4-2.

Stony Brook is allowing the second-fewest points per game to opponents. Holding foes to just 46.8 points per contest, the Seawolves rank second in the nation in that category. Binghamton's Alyssa James, a two-time America East Defensive Player of the Year, ranks second in the country in blocks with 4.8 blocks per game.
